This piece was commissioned by the Rose Theatre, an independent cinema in Port Townsend, Seattle USA.  The brief was to create a piece that could play before film screenings that captured the evolution of the cinema, the variety of the screenings and community spirit that has kept it thriving since the birth of film in the early 1900's.
